Particularly suited to bulky items and large quantities of light to medium waste such as wood, metal, plastics and garden waste. Roughly equivalent to 120–140 bin bags, it’s a popular choice for larger renovations, shop-fitting jobs and construction sites.
14 yard skip
Holds almost 10 cubic metres — between 180 and 210 full black bin bags. Best for bulky items and ideal for schools and authorities. Not suitable for soils or clays; maximum three-tonne limit.
16 yard skip
Handles a considerable volume — around 160–180 bin bags. Especially useful for bulky items or large quantities of light to medium waste such as wood, metal and plastic. Not suitable for heavy waste like soil or hardcore.

An exceptionally large capacity for significant construction projects, commercial demolitions and large-scale clearances — around 400–440 bin bags. Best for lightweight, bulky waste like wood, metal, cardboard and plastics; not suitable for heavy materials such as soil and concrete.
