Mini skip hire — 2 yard
Our 2 yard skips are ideal for smaller projects, holding 2 cubic metres of waste — roughly 20 to 25 standard black bin bags. They’re best for small DIY jobs and shed, room and garden clearances.
Mini skips also suit building sites that only generate small amounts of waste: they keep the site tidy while taking up minimal space. A mini skip isn’t suitable for furniture, doors or other bulky items.

Midi skip hire — 4 yard
The 4 yard midi skip is great for bigger projects with heavy material waste or soil. It holds around 65 to 70 full black bin bags and is almost 7 feet long, so it takes long items such as doors and radiators.
It’s commonly used for replacing old kitchens, digging footings for conservatory bases and garden landscaping. Midi skips are also available with easy-load ends for use with a wheelbarrow.
Does your skip need a permit?
If your skip is going anywhere other than your driveway, garden or private land, you’ll need a council skip permit. We can arrange this for you — just tick the permit box when you book and we’ll add the council charge.
We’re unable to arrange permits in Blackburn and Darwen.
