Embracing technology for progress
Innovation drives us, and we invest in technology to stay ahead. Our licensed waste transfer station (MRF) includes a 40-tonne private weighbridge — a facility that’s pivotal to our operations.
We also offer an easy online booking system for skip hire, with delivery time slots and a customer account for reorders and collections. We aim to make waste disposal straightforward and sustainable.
Efficient recycling and environmental responsibility
Efficiency and eco-friendliness guide our recycling methods. We recycle 80% of the waste we process, leaving just 20% to landfill. With a trommel, picking stations and a finger screen, we’re committed to minimising landfill waste — our site is a testament to that.
How is your waste recycled?
- Wooden window frames are shredded and used to make chipboard.
- Metal is fragmented and melted down to form new sheet steel for manufacturing.
- Screened soils go to civil engineering and landscaping.
- Cardboard is baled and returned to the paper mill to be reborn.
- Electrical cable is stripped for its copper content.
- Old bricks and concrete are crushed into secondary aggregate for roads and construction — reducing the need for virgin materials.
